Intro to PMC IT Systems
For your convenience, we have compiled an introductory list of the most commonly used IT systems at PMC, which we recommend you bookmark this page for future reference.
Request Portals
Many teams at PMC use the Request Portals to handle requests for various services, such as for IT Helpdesk, Product & Engineering, Paid Media, Email Newsletters, Corporate Design, SEO, Analytics and Data, and more. Submitting your request via the Request Portals enables it to get to the right team as efficiently as possible and enables those team to track all requests.
The first time you go to the Request Portals at https://pmc.help you will need to self-register using your work email address. You will also receive email notifications when a ticket is updated, closed or a comment added. You can reply to the ticket direct from the email notification. For issues with registering or logging into the Request Portals, please contact jira.support@pmc.com.

A Virtual Private Network is a secure connection used when you are outside of PMC offices and need to access PMC services such as File Shares. Pritunl is the application on your computer that you use to connect to PMC’s VPN. We only allow company-issued computers to connect to our VPN. Slack
Each business unit has their own Slack instance and each Slack instance has admins from that business unit who manage the users. Please ask your manager or a colleague to invite you to their Slack and the local administrator should get a notification and add you. If you have any issues please raise a ticket with the Helpdesk.
Cyber Security Training
Cyber security training is important to help you assess and improve your cyber security intelligence both at work and at home. This helps to protect you and protect PMC. As a new member of PMC you will receive an email notification with a link to your training assignment which you should complete within your first 30 days. We also complete whole company mandatory cyber security training on an annual basis.

For the best experience, especially when working on large file on the file share or video conferencing from your computer, you should connect to the wired (ethernet) connection at your desk.
For employees when moving around the office or in conference rooms, there is internal WiFi which allows you access to internal resources (e.g. files shares).
