How to join a Zoom meeting

If you have been invited to a Zoom meeting, these steps will help you join the Zoom meeting using your Chrome browser so you are not blocked by the Zoom app installation.

REMEMBER: All PMC's support video conferencing platform is HighFive and all internal video calls should take place on the HighFive platform. 

Step-by-step guide

The steps outlined here are to be followed after you've opened the link on your Chrome browser.

  1. Click "Cancel" on the first pop-up
  2. Click the "click here" link
  3. Click "Cancel" on the next pop-up
  4. Click the "join from your browser" link


    If you have not logged in using an account, you will receive this window, just enter your name, complete the Captcha and click "Join"
  5. Click "Join Audio by Computer"
  6. The very first time you do this you will need to click the "Allow" button so you can use your microphone
  7. If you want to start your camera, click the "Start Video" button (previous image)


Please note this has only been tested using Chrome. Using another browser may yield different result but the main process should be very similar.
