How to add Aliases on your Mac

Use this article to connect your Mac workstation (laptop, desktop) to PMC's corporate server share/drive. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. From "Finder", click on "Go" and then "Connect to Server..."

    1. Hint: You can also type in command-k as a keyboard shortcut.



  2. Once the "Connect to Server" window pops up, copy and paste the following into the field, then click Connect:

    Connect to Server

    SMB://CORP.PMC.COM/DFS/SHARED




  3. Right-click the "SHARED" folder that pops up on your desktop and choose "Make Alias":



  4. That's it - you're done!
